Data Deletion Instructions

Ads Insights Analytics is committed to your privacy and gives you full control over your data. This page explains what data we hold, how to delete it, and how to revoke our access to your Facebook advertising data.
1. What Data We Store
Our data storage is intentionally minimal:

2. How to Delete Your Data
Option A: Log Out (Immediate)
Clicking "Log Out" in the application immediately destroys your server session and removes your Facebook access token from our systems. No advertising data is retained because it was never stored.
Option B: Revoke Facebook Access
To permanently revoke our app's access to your Facebook account:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations
- Find "Ads Insights Analytics" in the list of connected apps
- Click "Remove"
- Confirm the removal when prompted
This will immediately revoke our app's access to your Facebook data. Any existing sessions will become invalid and unable to retrieve new data.
Option C: Email Request
You can also request data deletion by sending an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:
- Your Facebook user ID or the email address associated with your Facebook account
- A brief description of your request
We will process your request within 48 hours and send a confirmation email once completed.
3. What Happens After Deletion
After your data is deleted:
- Your access token is permanently removed from our server
- Your session cookie is invalidated
- No advertising data remains because it was never persisted
- You will need to re-authenticate if you wish to use the Service again
4. Facebook Data Deletion Callback
When you remove our app from your Facebook Business Integrations, Facebook sends us a data deletion callback. Upon receiving this callback, we automatically:
- Invalidate all active sessions associated with your Facebook user ID
- Delete any server-side session data
- Log the deletion request for compliance purposes
5. Verification
Since we do not permanently store advertising data, the deletion process is straightforward and complete. If you wish to verify that your data has been removed, you may contact us at [email protected] and we will confirm the status of your deletion request.
